Many people become too absorbed in their problems and lose perspective of life’s bigger picture. Life is about living, being happy, and enjoying the moment. We are not robots designed to solve a string of never-ending problems till the day we die; that is no way to live. We only have a finite amount of energy, and directing most of it to your problems takes away from other aspects of your life. I’m sure you are familiar with the expression, “Taking one step forward and two steps back.” No matter how much time and energy we spend, things only seem to get worse.

Clarity is an important thing. Clarity shows you which problems are worth solving, and which ones you need to walk away from. Clarity can help you see what makes you happy, and the things that are burdening you. Having a better perspective of our situation helps us spend our energy wisely on the things that make our lives worth living, instead of spending energy on problems and situations that will continue to drain us.

Don’t become fixated on your problems. Sometimes you need to take one step back so you can take two steps forward. It’s like having your nose against a wall. If you step away from the wall, you can see that the wall isn’t so big, and there are many ways to get past it.
